Accommodation

plan

The house sleeps 6/8.
There are 3 double bedrooms; extra beds can be set up in any any of these. The living room next to the hall can operate as a dedicated 4th double bedroom; this would still leave a large lounge and dining room as living space.

Upstairs there are 2 large twin/double bedrooms each with plenty of cupboard and drawer space.

Main bedroom
The main bedroom has superb panoramic sea views. Two single divans are pushed together to make a luxurious double bed. (You can separate the beds to convert to a twin room if you prefer.) There is a choice of 2 large single duvets or 1 super king size.

In the days when this house was the local school this room was the main classroom! Outdoor stairs lead up to what is now the door size window looking over to Skye and Rhum.

main bedroom

Second twin room - the beds can be set up as a double with a king size sheet but we don't have a king size duvet for this room.

Bathroom
Luxurious freestanding bath; heated towel rail; sea views (from bath!) to Balephetrish Bay and Mull.

Downstairs:
Kitchen-diner, complete with 4-6 seat table, microwave, dishwasher, plenty of modern utensils. Passage to living room.

Living room with high ceiling, candle chandelier, TV/DVD player, French windows to SW facing garden (perfect for lunch in good weather,) solid fuel stove, windows all round: door to dining room and passage into kitchen-diner. This is an exceptionally bright room for an old house.

Dining room
Large table with seating for 8. Extras can be squeezed in.
Spectacular glass screen wall with sea views to NW to Outer Hebrides.
Often need sunglasses for supper!

Second living room: the cosiest room in the house with TV/DVD player and solid fuel stove.
There is a double sofabed as well as the regular sofa. It is only a few paces to the shower rooms helping it work as a 4th bedroom option. The sofabed is excellent for for 2 children or 1 adult; it will not suit all adult couples. There is room to set up 1 or 2 mattresses on the floor to convert this room into a twin bedroom.

Bedroom 3
Twin/double room. Great views NW and NE. Adjacent to the two shower rooms. This room has just been transformed (new picture awaited) allowing it to function as a twin or double. There is room for one or even two mattresses on the floor if you want to use it as a "kids' room."

2 shower-rooms/toilets; each with heated towel rail. One with sea views as you shower.

Large, bright entrance porch - heaps of room for coats, wellies, golf clubs etc

Spacious hall; desk and chair; gently shelving staircase leads upstairs.

Utility room with spare fridge, washing machine, tumble dryer and sink.

Single garage: contains large freezer; ideal for storing bikes, surfing gear, fishing tackle, golf clubs etc and also for changing out of wetsuits.

There are two high quality foam matresses as well as the sofabed to give some flexibility to sleeping arrangements.

Large, sunny garden to SW.

Back garden and sheltered patio to NW with outside table and chairs.

SE facing front garden for morning coffee in the sun.
